So you want to make the most out of your time at SeaTac? Luckily for you, this busy airport just a short drive from downtown Seattle is filled with ways to keep you occupied during your wait for your flight or a layover, and plenty of convenient options to make sure that you don’t spend too much time on the various “chores” associated with flying.
SeaTac Parking
Speaking of, one of those chores is parking and, at SeaTac, a lot of travelers complain of the cost of parking. You can park in the official Sea-Tac lot (where prices start at around $30 per day if you book directly with the lot) or at several privately-owned lots in the area (which require you to take a shuttle to your terminal). To save on the cost, Way.com offers plenty of Seattle airport parking at various lots, so you can easily compare and contrast your options, all in one spot. There’s no need to do a lot of research, because Way has already done it for you. Just search and book according to your preferences — whether you want a spot that’s as close to the airport as possible, or you’d rather pay the cheapest price.

Invest in a Faster Security Process
If there’s one way to make the most out of your time at any airport, it’s by investing in pre-clearance. Look into services such as TSA PreCheck, which allows you to skip longer security lines. You’ll have more time to leisurely await your flight, and spend fewer minutes waiting for your full-body scan.

Enjoy Some Art
Once the chores of SeaTac parking and security are out of the way, take a stroll around your terminal. You’ll be greeted with two things — live music on a regular basis and art at just about every turn. SeaTac has really worked to put together an enjoyable environment for its passengers, and it would be a shame to miss out on these offerings.

Grab a Bite
Save yourself from economy-class airplane cuisine and dine before you board your flight. SeaTac offers loads of options to choose from, and several trendy eateries serve up some of the region’s best bites — seafood, local brews, handmade cheeses, Seattle coffee and more.
Do Some Shopping
Of course, don’t forget to pick up some souvenirs! There are several SeaTac shops that specialize in local products, including the more kitschy souvenir items, where you can pick up a few things both for yourself and for your family and friends back home.

Get Some Work Done
SeaTac has a lot of very convenient charging ports throughout its terminals. You can just about sit down anywhere and find a charging port underneath, on or around your seat. There’s no excuse not to make sure you’re fully charged and ready for your flight. You can also take advantage of some free WiFi.
