Last year, I got my Singapore Visa processed by One Visa through the Cyprus Permanent Residency Program. Upon landing the city, I started my research on the top places to visit in Singapore. When I am half way through my research, I understood that this is a land of contrasts. The city has everything one would look for. In my past 365 days in Singapore, I explored as many places as possible in and around the city. This helped me to prepare a list of top places to visit in Singapore. Find them below:
Marina Bay
I would declare that this is the pride of Singapore. This is located on the most spectacular part of the city. This is basically a complex but with some unimaginable additions. You can do almost everything while you are here. I had an opportunity to visit the top of the building (that is a ship). I would say I was fortunate. The impressive skyline was mind-blowing. This is a building of luxury blending with elegance in correct proportions. Never miss the light show here!
Universal Studios
This is the most state-of-art amusement park in the Asian Continent. This attraction has been set up with as many as twenty themed zones. My children loved them! Now, coming for adults, the rides and roller coasters will make you feel the chills! Also, note that you won’t feel hunger when you are here. There are lots of restaurants inside the park. The only thing is that we cannot consider this place during holidays or weekends because of the crowds.
Gardens by the Bay
This is a huge futuristic park built in the bay area. The architecture would speak when you are here. The supertree structures, greenhouses, plants, and trees would call you to this place again and again. I have been to this place more than fifteen times in just one year. I would say this is my favorite relaxing spot whenever I am down. Also, walking around this park is not going to cost you anything. This could be a good reason to visit here over and over.
Singapore Flyer
Did you know this is the largest observation wheel on the planet? You can experience the breathtaking panoramic view while being at a distance of 165 meters from the ground. I will say it’s tough for anyone to choose the ideal time to take a ride. It would give you a completely different experience during day and night. So, if you can spend more time, try going in it twice, once during the day and once during the night. You will agree with my point!
Sentosa Island
This is a manmade island, but I didn’t feel so when I was here. I made it a routine to visit this place at least once in a month. It’s mainly because I could show my children the largest collection of aquatic animals, butterflies, and insects there. Also, I love the cable car ride! The panoramic view it offers is just astounding! Don’t worry about the sands here. They are soft sands, so there should not be any problem! I would say it’s worth visiting.
