Dubai is a popular tourist destination and attracts millions of tourists every year. The Dubai government has come up with a strategy to attract 25 million tourists annually by 2025.
If their strategy succeeds, Dubai will become the leading city visit city in the world and overtake Bangkok, which today holds the crown.
Even though it has yet to get that crown, Dubai is the most visited city in UAE and Middle East. One of the strategies which have made many tourists travel to Dubai s how easy it is to get an entry visa.
All you need is UAE Visit visa, and you are allowed to experience Dubai’s pleasant and sunny weather, gorgeous beaches, world-class architecture, as well as shopping and dining experiences.
Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) did a survey in April 2022 and found that between January and March 2022, the Emirate had nearly four million overnight visitors from outside the country. Compared to the 1.27 million visitors who came during the same period the year before, this number shows a huge increase of 214%.
As a result of Covid-19’s loosening of many restrictions, such as pre-travel testing, this summer will be the first time in a long time that travelling won’t be too stressful. When the Rapid PCR/PCR tests were taken away, people going to the UAE could sigh in relief.
Travel agencies say that travellers spend their summer vacations in the UAE because it’s easy to get there, COVID rules are less strict, and the beaches are clean.
Visitors by country of origin are shown in the table below.
Country | Visitors in 2020 |
---|---|
India | 865,000 |
Saudi Arabia | 400,000 |

Over the years, it has grown and become more successful as it has broken several Guinness World Records. The Dubai Miracle Garden is a tourist spot open during certain times of the year. It is open every year from October to April.

The outside of the building is made of stainless steel sheets. Titanium nitride, coated on the sheets, gives them golden colour and looks on the outside.
The building is a link between Dubai’s past and the present. If you look north through the frame, you can see the older parts of Dubai. When you look south, you can see the new buildings along Sheikh Zayed Road and Downtown Dubai.
